Summer Camp Counselor

We are looking for a team-oriented, energetic individual who enjoys working with children. Camp Counselors are responsible for the care and engagement of our summer camp participants ranging from ages 3 years old to 12 years old. Must be 16 years or older. This position requires flexibility and the ability to lead games and activities. Mandatory training on June 8th (6-8pm), 9th (9am-4pm) and 10th (9am-4pm) is required.

Summer Camp Specialist

We are looking for a team-oriented, energetic individual who enjoys working with children. Camp Specialists are responsible for the care and engagement of our summer camp participants ranging from ages 3 years old to 15 years old. This position requires the development of curriculum and for their specific specialty, as well as leading the specific camp with the assistance of camp counselors. We prefer specialists that are willing to serve as camp counselors as well. Mandatory training on June 8th (6-8pm), 9th (9am-4pm) and 10th (9am-4pm) is required. Summer Camp CIT Coordinator

We are looking for a team-oriented, energetic individual who enjoys working with teens ages 13-15 years old. The CIT Coordinator is responsible for working with other camp staff to develop leadership opportunities for our CIT program. They are also responsible for the placing and development of our CIT's, coaching staff on working with teens, reviewing CIT's on a weekly basis and ensure camp policies are being enforced. Must be 21 years or older and have experience working directly with teens. Mandatory training on June 8th (6-8pm), 9th (9am-4pm) and 10th (9am-4pm) is required.

Teacher Assistant/Assistant Group Supervisor (Morrisville) - Part-Time Position

Job Summary

The Teacher Assistant/Assistant Group Supervisor assists the the Preschool class teacher in the planning, preparation, and implementation of daily class activities. All candidates must have experience working with preschool-aged children and enjoy working with 1- 5 year old age group . This position requires the ability to bend, stoop, lift, etc. to accomplish classroom duties. A high school degree is required; 9 - 12 hours college credit in Early Childhood Education needed . Needed hours: M-F, 12PM - 6PM, average 30 hours per week

- 2500 hours of child care experience which can include coaching, babysitting, child care, youth groups, church, etc.

Swim Coach - Part Time Position

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for an engaging individual to work as an Age Group Swim Coach for our Tri-Hampton Swim Team. The Age Group Swim Coach develop and improve the technical and physical skills of the swimmers. This coach will also be responsible for providing a fun and enjoyable environment which will help introduce competition while supporting personal and social development of team swimmers.
If you have coaching experience, enjoy working with children, and want to be part of the Y’s mission, this position may be a great fit! REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be minimum 18-years old; 1 year of coaching experience with sanctioned swim team required; supervisory experience preferred. HOURS NEEDED:  Part-time; Wednesdays through Fridays, 4:00 PM - 8:30 PM, Saturdays, 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM; minimum 8 hours per week. Silver Sneakers Instructor - Part-Time Position

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for instructors for our Silver Sneakers program. Silver Sneakers Instructors will work in pairs to co-teach and assist in class participation - Engaging, energetic, and cooperative are essential characteristics for this position. Silver Sneakers Instructors will also help with the set-up and take-down of all equipment and chairs. REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years old; Silver Sneaker Certification required. Youth Spanish Teacher - Newtown Branch

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA ((Newtown Branch) is looking for an engaging and energetic individual to teach Spanish to our young participants. Candidates must enjoy working with children and have good teaching skills. Lifeguards & Head Lifeguards

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is in need of Lifeguards - Candidates must maintain safe, clean and enjoyable aquatic environment for YMCA members and participants. Ensure safety of all individuals in the pool area by being on deck, watching activity in and around the pool. Adhere to and enforce YMCA Aquatic Safety Standards at all time. Qualifications: Minimum age of 16 with current YMCA or ARC Lifeguard, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and ARC First Aid certifications. Candidates must possess sufficient strength and skill technique to control and rescue struggling adult swimmer. Aquatics Fitness Instructor | Fairless Hills & Newtown - Part-Time Position

The Y is currently seeking energetic Aquatics Fitness Instructors to lead aqua group fitness classes for our members in the water. The Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for instructing water-based group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, professional and positive environment which fosters member wellness and engagement. In this role you are expected to initiate conversations with members, answer questions to support members’ in achieving or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and also to build effective, authentic relationships with members. Applicant must hold or be willing to acquire a current primary Aquatics Group Fitness certification such as AEA Aquatics Group Fitness Professional certification within 6 months. Group Exercise Instructor | Fairless Hills & Newtown - Part-Time Position

Stay & Play Childsitting Services - Part-Time Postition

Responsible individuals needed to help provide an engaging, fun, and safe experience for our members’ children. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have experience working with children. Weekday Caregiver - Hours/Shifts available: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 1:00pm. Substitute Caregivers are also needed for weekends - Hour/Shift: Saturday/Sunday, 8:00am - 1:00pm. Personal Trainer - Part Time Position

Are you interested in making a difference in the Fairless Hills and Newtown community? The Lower Bucks Family YMCA works with members every day to help them achieve their wellness goals and we need Personal Trainers to help. Our Personal Trainers provide one-on-one or group services to YMCA members that subscribe to the service. Youth Mentor - Soccer for Success Program Coach - Part-Time Position (for our Spring program)

Gymnastics Instructor Youth Development - Part-Time Position

LBFYMCA is looking for an energetic individual who enjoys working with young children (3 -10 years old) to teach gymnastics for our Youth Development department.The Youth Gymnastics Instructor can have a background in Cheer or Gymnastics.   • Develops positive relationships with participants, and provides motivational support and guidance.

  • Organizes and puts away needed class equipment. Reports damaged equipment.
  • Maintains Gymnastics office and class records in an orderly and efficient manner.
  • Instructs class lessons as assigned in accordance with YMCA guidelines.
