Coach Mentors (Soccer) - Fairless Hills - Part-Time

Lower Bucks Family YMCA, Fairless Hills location, is seeking candidates who have a passion for working with youth. We need reliable and committed Soccer Coach Mentors for a part-time position. Coach Mentors instruct our U.S. Soccer Foundation grant funded “Soccer for Success” program in elementary and middle schools in Bristol Township area. Coaches are asked to have availability for at least 3 days a week when leading practices, but can coach up to 5 days a week, if available.

Requirements: At least 18 years old; at least High School Diploma; 1 year in childcare and/or coaching experience preferred
Days/Hours: Monday through Saturday; Mornings 9:30am - 11:30am and evenings 3-5pm

Swim Instructors - Fairless Hills - Part-Time

Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for engaged, energetic, and responsible swim instructors that would love to share their passion of swimming to younger YMCA members. Responsibilities include teaching the Y Swimming Program, delivering and evaluating children throughout the program. Swim Instructor must help the children develop confidence in the ability to swim.

Requirements: At least 16 years of age, at least 1 year experience preferred, YSL Instructor preferred.
Days/Hours: Monday through Thursday from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Saturdays 9 am to 1 pm. Must work at least 1 shift per week.

Swim Instructors - Newtown - Part-Time

Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for engaged, energetic, and responsible swim instructors that would love to share their passion of swimming to younger YMCA members. Maintaining a safe and clean pool/class area while adhering to all YMCA Aquatic Safety Standards is expected.

Certified Lifeguards - Newtown - Part Time

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for Certified Lifeguards for the Newtown location. Certified Lifeguards may opt to work additional hours as Swim Instructors - Swim Instructor training will be provided. Candidates must maintain safe, clean and enjoyable aquatic environment for YMCA members and participants. Ensure safety of all individuals in the pool area by being on deck, watching activity in and around the pool.

Requirements: Must be a minimum of 16-years old, Certified Lifeguard. Deep Water certification may be provided if needed. 
Days/Hours: Varies shifts available. 
Location: Certified Lifeguards are needed ASAP at our Newtown location, some shifts available at our Fairless Hills location.

Certified Lifeguards - Fairless Hills

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is in need of Lifeguards - Candidates must maintain safe, clean and enjoyable aquatic environment for YMCA members and participants. Ensure safety of all individuals in the pool area by being on deck, watching activity in and around the pool. Adhere to and enforce YMCA Aquatic Safety Standards at all time. Candidates must possess sufficient strength and skill technique to control and rescue struggling adult swimmer.

Requirements: Minimum age of 16 with current YMCA or ARC Lifeguard, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and ARC First Aid certifications.

Aquatics Deck Supervisor - Fairless Hills - Part-Time

Lower Bucks Family YMCA, Fairless Hills location, is looking for a responsible and organized part-time Deck Supervisor. Deck Supervisor will be responsible for communicating well with parents and staff. If you are someone who loves to work in a team-oriented atmosphere and is engaging with staff and members, consider being our Deck Supervisor.
At least two years of swim lesson experience preferred.

Requirements: at least 18 years old; Lifeguard Certification preferred.

Swim Team Coach - Newtown - Part Time

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA, Newtown location, is looking for an engaging individual to work as a Swim Team Coach for our Tri-Hampton Swim Team. The Swim Team Coach develop and improve the technical and physical skills of the swimmers. This coach will also be responsible for providing a fun and enjoyable environment which will help introduce competition while supporting personal and social development of team swimmers.
If you have coaching experience, enjoy working with children, and want to be part of the Y’s mission, this position may be a great fit - NOTE: Swim Team Coaching experience is not needed!

Requirements: Candidates must be minimum 18-years old; previous coaching exeprience not required, however must have a passion for competitive swimming and impacting youth.
Days/Hours: Part-time; Evenings, 4:15 PM - 8:45 PM, Saturdays, 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM; minimum 8 hours per week.

Aquatics Fitness Instructor - Fairless Hills & Newtown - Part-Time

Lower Bucks Family YMCA is currently seeking energetic Aquatics Fitness Instructors to lead aqua group fitness classes for our members in the water. The Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for instructing water-based group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, professional and positive environment which fosters member wellness and engagement. In this role you are expected to initiate conversations with members, answer questions to support members’ in achieving or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and also to build effective, authentic relationships with members.

Requirements: Applicant must hold or be willing to acquire a current primary Aquatics Group Fitness certification such as AEA Aquatics Group Fitness Professional certification within 6 months.

Private Lesson Swim Instructor - Newtown - Part Time

Personal Trainer - Fairless HIlls & Newtown - Part-Time

Are you interested in making a difference in the Fairless Hills and Newtown community? The Lower Bucks Family YMCA works with members every day to help them achieve their wellness goals and we need Personal Trainers to help. Our Personal Trainers provide one-on-one or group services to YMCA members that subscribe to the service. Services include constructing a personalized plan that encompasses these fitness aspects: weight training, resistance training and cardiovascular exercise. 

Requirements: Must be minimum of 18 years of age; Nationally recognized certifications in Personal Training, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy or similar is required; Minimum of 1 year in the fitness industry.

Group Exercise Instructor - Fairless Hills & Newtown - Part-Time

The Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for conducting safe effective group exercise classes including, but not limited to, High or Low Impact Aerobics, Step Aerobics, Muscle Toning classes, Flexibility and/or Strength & Conditioning Group exercise classes. Fitness Coach - Fairless Hills - Part-Time

Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for punctual, responsible and engaging fitness coaches to better assist our members when they are using our facilities. Our organization expects our fitness coaches to be actively engaging with members to make for a safe environment. Oversee day-to-day operations in fitness center and making sure to maintain a clean and safe environment. Engage with our members and be capable of giving a Fitness Center Orientation. Answering basic questions regarding proper usage of the equipment and how to use each piece safely and effectively.

Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older and CPR/AED/First Aid certified. Prior experience and knowledge of fitness is preferred but not required for this position.
Days/Hours: Must be available and flexible on weekdays.

Lead Teacher/Group Supervisor - Newtown - Part-Time

The Teacher/Group Supervisor(GS) will plan, facilitate, and provide ongoing assessment of daily activities in the Young Toddler (12-18 months) classroom. In addition, the GS will supervise and guide the Assistant Group Supervisor and other aides in the classroom.

Requirements: At least a CDA or Associate's in Early Childhood Education, or related field. At least 2 years experience. Must be 18 years or older.
Days/Hours: Monday through Friday; 9-3 pm. (PART TIME)
 
This candidate must be a responsible and caring individual with at least 2 years experience working directly with children; documentation of experience needed. 

The Group Supervisor must posses a Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or related field as per the Department of Human Services licensing regulations.

Assistant Teacher/Assistant Group Supervisor - Fairless Hills - Part-Time

The Assistant Teacher/Assistant Group Supervisor assists the the class teacher in the planning, preparation, and implementation of daily class activities. This position requires the ability to bend, stoop, lift, etc. to accomplish classroom duties. 

Requirements: 2500 documented childcare hours*. At least a high school degree; 12- 15 hours college credit in Early Childhood Education needed. 

Days/Hours: Monday through Friday, 2:45pm to 6 pm

Before & After School Care Assistant Teacher - Fairless Hills - Part-Time

Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for team-oriented candidates for our School Age Childcare Program, Before & After School Care. Assistant Group Supervisor will work with other before and after childcare staff to supervise and engage with children participating in the program. Our group supervisors ensure the safety of all children while also engaging in activities and assisting with homework. In addition, the Before and After chldcare staff may help prepare the monthly newsletter, contribute ideas to class programming, and serve as direct contact for parents at pick-up and drop-off. If you are a responsible, engaged, and team-oriented adult who is at least 18 years of age then you should consider applying for an Assistant Group Supervisor position. Applicants should have some experience working with elementary age children and college credits in the education field is preferred.

Requirements: Must be at least 18-years old. Must have 2500 hours of childcare experience (this can be through formal employment, volunteering, childsitting, etc); hours needed may less with 15 or more credits in Education or Early Childhood Education.  
Days/Hours Needed:
 Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Lower Bucks Family YMCA, Fairless Hills location, is looking for a punctual, responsible and flexible candidate to join our Transportation team! The Bus Driver has the primary responsibility for ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the children, staff and volunteers during bus or van transportation to and from a designated location.

Requirements: At least 21 years old; at least High School Diploma; at least 1 year experience; Must old a Class B Driver's License or current Commercial Driver's License (CDL), S/P endorsement; Annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with a clean driving history; First Aid/CPR Certified
