Teacher Assistant/Assistant Group Supervisor (Morrisville) - Part-Time Position

Job Summary

The Teacher Assistant/Assistant Group Supervisor assists the the Preschool class teacher in the planning, preparation, and implementation of daily class activities. All candidates must have experience working with preschool-aged children and enjoy working with 1- 5 year old age group . This position requires the ability to bend, stoop, lift, etc. to accomplish classroom duties. A high school degree is required; 9 - 12 hours college credit in Early Childhood Education needed . Needed hours: M-F, 12PM - 6PM, average 30 hours per week

- 2500 hours of child care experience which can include coaching, babysitting, child care, youth groups, church, etc.

Personal Trainer - Part Time Position

Are you interested in making a difference in the Fairless Hills and Newtown community? The Lower Bucks Family YMCA works with members every day to help them achieve their wellness goals and we need Personal Trainers to help. Our Personal Trainers provide one-on-one or group services to YMCA members that subscribe to the service. Services include constructing a personalized plan that encompasses these fitness aspects: weight training, resistance training and cardiovascular exercise. REQUIREMENTS: Must be minimum of 18 years of age; Nationally recognized certifications in Personal Training, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy or similar is required; Minimum of 1 year in the fitness industry. HOURS NEEDED: Mornings or Evenings hours *INCLUDES YMCA STAFF MEMBERSHIP* If interested, please send complete application to Kevin Crail at kcrail@cbfymca.org.

Age Group Swim Coach - Part Time Position

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for a calm and engaging individual to work as an Age Group Swim Coach for our Swim Team. The Age Group Swim Coach develop and improve the technical and physical skills of the swimmers. This coach will also be responsible for providing a fun and enjoyable environment which will help introduce competition while supporting personal and social development of team swimmers.
If you have coaching experience, enjoy working with children, and want to be part of the Y’s mission, this position may be a great fit! REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be minimum 18-years old; 1 year of coaching experience with sanctioned swim team required; supervisory experience preferred. HOURS NEEDED:  Part-time; Wednesdays through Fridays, 4:00 PM - 8:30 PM, Saturdays, 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM; minimum 8 hours per week. Senior Director of Annual Fund - Full-Time Position

The Senior Director of the Annual Fund is a critical position for our organization.   Working closely with our Chief Development Officer, you will set forth, manage and execute all aspects of the annual campaign.   This will require incredible interpersonal skills as you will partner with volunteer, community and branch leadership to ensure we meet the fundraising goals for our organization.  In addition, you will be responsible to motivate and inspire a team of development professionals and colleagues to engage in exciting association wide fundraising programs and events while creating a true culture of philanthropy.  As the Y is currently in an unprecedented comprehensive campaign, you will be part of a history-making effort to raise needed dollars to position the Y as the lead provider healthy living, youth development and social responsibility in the communities that we serve. Group Supervisor (part-time Teacher) Older Toddlers | Newtown & Chandler Hall

The Group Supervisor (GS) will plan, facilitate, and provide ongoing assessment of daily activities in the Older Toddler (2's) classroom. In addition, the GS will supervise and guide the Assistant Group Supervisor and other aides in the classroom. The Group Supervisor must posses a Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or related field as per the Department of Human Services licensing regulations. Assistant Group Supervisor (AFTERNOONS) - School Age Child Care/Beyond The Classroom - Part-Time Position

The Assistant Group Supervisor (AGS) will work with the Group Supervisor to run a safe, fun, and well-planned program for our School Age Child Care (SACC) participants. The AGS will help with all classroom duties while actively participating with the children in the before and after care program. REQUIREMENTS: Must be minimum 18-years old; high school diploma AND 2 years childcare experience (2500 hours) OR high school diploma,15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or the human services field AND 1 year of experience with children. HOURS NEEDED: Mondays through Fridays; 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM. Gymnastics Instructor Youth Development - Part-Time Position

LBFYMCA is looking for an energetic individual who enjoys working with young children (3 -10 years old) to teach gymnastics for our Youth Development department.The Youth Gymnastics Instructor can have a background in Cheer or Gymnastics. Lifeguards & Head Lifeguards

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is in need of Lifeguards - Candidates must maintain safe, clean and enjoyable aquatic environment for YMCA members and participants. Ensure safety of all individuals in the pool area by being on deck, watching activity in and around the pool. Adhere to and enforce YMCA Aquatic Safety Standards at all time. Qualifications: Minimum age of 16 with current YMCA or ARC Lifeguard, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and ARC First Aid certifications. Candidates must possess sufficient strength and skill technique to control and rescue struggling adult swimmer. Aquatics Fitness Instructor | Fairless Hills & Newtown - Part-Time Position

The Y is currently seeking energetic Aquatics Fitness Instructors to lead aqua group fitness classes for our members in the water. The Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for instructing water-based group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, professional and positive environment which fosters member wellness and engagement. In this role you are expected to initiate conversations with members, answer questions to support members’ in achieving or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and also to build effective, authentic relationships with members. The Y is seeking Silver Sneakers Instructors to lead Silver Sneakers Classic and Yoga classes designed specifically for seniors. Child Watch Caregiver - Part-Time Postition

Head Swim Team Coach - Part-Time Position

Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for flexible and positive individuals as Head Swim Team Coaches for our swim team. The Head Swim Team Coaches will coach proper and competitive swim technique to swimmers 6-19 years of age, attend swim meets, and provide feedback to swimmers when needed. In addition, coaches will interact with parents and email monthly updates on team accomplishments and upcoming events. REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and should have at least 3 years of competitive Swim Coach experience; must receive Coaching YMCA Principals and USA Swimming certification within 3 months of hire. HOURS NEEDED: Monday - Friday, 4:30PM-8:30PM; Saturday, 7:30AM-12:00PM; 25 hours per week. Welcome Center Representative (Newtown Branch) - Part-Time Position

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for a cheerful and responsible individual to work as a Welcome Center Representative for our Newtown/Chandler Hall branch. The Welcome Center Representative will provide support to all members, program participants, volunteers, and guests; this is a true engagement role with a focus on customer service. The Welcome Center Representative will assist members and guests with facility tours, membership and program registration, and providing support to members in achieving their wellness goals.
