Summer Camp Counselor

We are looking for a team-oriented, energetic individual who enjoys working with children. Camp Counselors are responsible for the care and engagement of our summer camp participants ranging from ages 3 years old to 12 years old. Must be 16 years or older. This position requires flexibility and the ability to lead games and activities. Mandatory training on June 8th (6-8pm), 9th (9am-4pm) and 10th (9am-4pm) is required.

Certified Lifeguards

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for Certified Lifeguards for the Newtown Branch. Certified Lifeguards may opt to work additional hours as Swim Instructors - Swim Instructor training will be provided. Certified Lifeguards, like all LBFYMCA staff, will receive an individual Y membership at time of hire. REQUIREMENTS: Must be a minimum of 16-years old and have current LG certification. Deep Water certification may be provided if needed. HOURS/DAYS NEEDED: Monday thru Thursday, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM and/or 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM shifts available. LOCATION: Certified Lifeguards are needed ASAP at our Newtown Branch, some shifts available at our Fairless Hills Branch. Lifeguards & Head Lifeguards

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is in need of Lifeguards - Candidates must maintain safe, clean and enjoyable aquatic environment for YMCA members and participants. Ensure safety of all individuals in the pool area by being on deck, watching activity in and around the pool. Adhere to and enforce YMCA Aquatic Safety Standards at all time. Qualifications: Minimum age of 16 with current YMCA or ARC Lifeguard, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and ARC First Aid certifications. Candidates must possess sufficient strength and skill technique to control and rescue struggling adult swimmer. Swim Instructors - Part-Time Position

LBFYMCA is looking for organized and engaging swimmers to instruct and motivate students in learning and improving swim skills. Personal Trainer - Part Time Position

Are you interested in making a difference in the Fairless Hills and Newtown community? The Lower Bucks Family YMCA works with members every day to help them achieve their wellness goals and we need Personal Trainers to help. Our Personal Trainers provide one-on-one or group services to YMCA members that subscribe to the service. Swim Team Coach - Part Time Position

The Lower Bucks Family YMCA is looking for an engaging individual to work as a Swim Team Coach for our Tri-Hampton Swim Team. The Swim Team Coach develop and improve the technical and physical skills of the swimmers. This coach will also be responsible for providing a fun and enjoyable environment which will help introduce competition while supporting personal and social development of team swimmers.
If you have coaching experience, enjoy working with children, and want to be part of the Y’s mission, this position may be a great fit - NOTE: Swim Team Coaching experience is not needed! REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be minimum 18-years old; previous coaching exeprience not required, however must have a passion for competitive swimming and impacting youth. Aquatics Fitness Instructor | Fairless Hills & Newtown - Part-Time Position

The Y is currently seeking energetic Aquatics Fitness Instructors to lead aqua group fitness classes for our members in the water. The Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for instructing water-based group fitness classes in a safe, enjoyable, professional and positive environment which fosters member wellness and engagement. In this role you are expected to initiate conversations with members, answer questions to support members’ in achieving or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and also to build effective, authentic relationships with members. Applicant must hold or be willing to acquire a current primary Aquatics Group Fitness certification such as AEA Aquatics Group Fitness Professional certification within 6 months. Group Exercise Instructor | Fairless Hills & Newtown - Part-Time Position

The Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for conducting safe effective group exercise classes including but not limited to High or Low Impact Aerobics, Step Aerobics, Muscle Toning classes, Flexibility and/or Strength & Conditioning Group exercise classes. Teacher - Young Toddlers (Newtown Branch) - Full-Time Position

The Teacher/Group Supervisor(GS) will plan, facilitate, and provide ongoing assessment of daily activities in the Young Toddler classroom. In addition, the GS will supervise and guide the Assistant Group Supervisor and other aides in the classroom. The Group Supervisor must posses a Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or related field as per the Department of Human Services licensing regulations. This candidate must be a responsible and caring individual with at least 2 years experience working directly with children; documentation of experience needed. Teacher Assistant/Assistant Group Supervisor (Morrisville) - Part-Time Position

Job Summary

The Teacher Assistant/Assistant Group Supervisor assists the the Preschool class teacher in the planning, preparation, and implementation of daily class activities. All candidates must have experience working with preschool-aged children and enjoy working with 1- 5 year old age group . This position requires the ability to bend, stoop, lift, etc. to accomplish classroom duties. A high school degree is required; 9 - 12 hours college credit in Early Childhood Education needed . Needed hours: M-F, 12PM - 6PM, average 30 hours per week.
